This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents No.1 and 2 to release the petitioner's two-wheeler bearing the registration No. TN 72 BZ 6502 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2024.

2.Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Senthil Ayyanar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the third respondent. 3.According to the petitioner, on 25.01.2024, his brother rode the petitioner's bike along with one Sathya Sibin, at that time, the second respondent stopped the vehicle and demanded a sum of Rs.2,000/-. But they did not pay the same. Thereafter, a fine amount of Rs.26,000/- was 2/5

imposed and within five minute again a fine amount of Rs.23,000/- was imposed. Thereafter, the petitioner's two-wheeler was taken into custody from 25.01.2024. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation, dated 16.03.2024, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition has been filed.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that already the petitioner's two-wheeler bearing registration No.TN-72-BZ-6502 was released and handed over to the petitioner on 25.02.2025.

5.Since the petitioner's two-wheeler has already been released, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed.
