This direction petition is filed to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.04.2015. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to him and his family members through a representation dated 07.04.2015. Now, 3 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. 3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
