The petitioners seek to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.7 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Tuticorin.
2. The petitioners are in-laws of the first respondent. The only ground raised by the petitioners to quash the proceedings, is that the petitioners are residing elsewhere and they are finding in difficult to appear before the Court below.
3. This Court is of the view that the same cannot be ground to quash the proceedings and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD) Nos.1 & 2 of 2015 are also closed. However, all the issues are left open to be raised before the Court below. Considering the submission made, personal appearance of the petitioners before the Court below is dispensed with until and unless the same is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
required. Learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tuticorin, is directed to dispose of M.C.No.7 of 2014 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
