ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, based on the representation dated 21.02.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner as well as the private respondents are relatives and there existed property dispute between them and that the enquiry was conducted, on the basis of the complaints given by both the parties and by directing them to approach the competent Civil Court, complaints were ordered to be closed.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), it appears that there existed civil dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. Admittedly, there is no enforceable decree or order from the jurisdictional civil Court 2/4
and as such, granting of police protection does not arise at all. As of now, leaving open the petitioner's rights and remedies, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
