Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to award adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and on the strength of the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who takes notice on behalf of the first and second respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner originally married to one Karuppasamy and she got a child through him. The said Karuppasamy died in the year 2010. Thereafter, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner married Karuppasamy's younger brother, by name Thiruppathi and she is living with him in the very same house. Now, the elder brother and sister of Karuppasamy and Thiruppathi and their mother, who are the respondents 3 to 6 herein, interfered with their possession. Thus, she made a representation to the first and second respondents seeking police protection and that was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

On perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition and also the representation dated 03.06.2019 that has been enclosed along with the typed-set of papers, it is seen that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 6 herein. If at all the petitioner has any grievance, the only remedy available to her is to approach the Civil Court concerned to get a suitable order. The first and second respondents cannot interfere with the civil dispute. Thus, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
