O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to petitioner, while doing fencing work in her property bearing the survey no. 53/2B2 which was situated in Keelaiyur, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the petitioners representation dated 04.02.2025.
2.According to the petitioner, she is the owner of the said property and she wants to put up fence for the said property. While she was doing so, the private respondents restrained her from fencing the land. Therefore,
she sent the representation, dated 04.02.2025 to the respondent but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation was received on 05.02.2025 and the same is under enquiry and the respondent police will consider the same and dispose of it within one week. 4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to dispose of this petition.
5.Since it is admitted that the respondent police has received the petitioner's representation, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 04.02.2025 within a period of one week, from the date of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not decided any rights of the parties over the subject property.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
