This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by first respondent dated 22.02.2024, in so far as the transfer of petitioner from Thoothukudi City Municipal Corporation to Rajapalayam Municipality is concerned and consequently direct the respondents herein to retain the petitioner as Executive Engineer / City Planner in Thoothukudi City Municipal Corporation till his retirement on 30.06.2025 with all consequential service and monetary benefits if any withhled on account of above order of transfer. 2/4

2. It is submitted that pending writ petition, an order has been passed retaining the petitioner in the very same position.
