ORDER

The petitioners are accused persons in *Cr.No.238 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 506(ii) I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Counsel for the third respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, a joint memo of compromise, recording the compromise between the parties, has been filed by both parties and attested by the Counsel for both parties, in which the defacto complainant has expressed no objection to quash the proceedings. The parties are also present before this Court.

4. This Court has also perused the nature of complaint and the compromise memo. This Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served by proceedings further in this matter.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in *Cr.No.238 of 2014, on the file of the second respondent is quashed.
