O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to file a final report in crime No.165 of 2017 dated 09.05.2017, within a stipulated period as may be fixed this Court. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent.

3.Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.165 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 354, 294(b), 506(i) IPC against the accused persons on the file of the respondent police on 09.05.2017. 4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused persons were insisting the petitioner and his family to sell their property and for the same the petitioner and his family were threatened by the accused persons. In this connection, the petitioner gave a complaint before the respondent in Crime No.165 of 2017, on 09.05.2017, against the five accused persons. Even though the First Information Report was registered on 09.05.2017, the respondent police has not taken any further steps to complete https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the investigation and file a final report. Hence the petitioner has constrained to file this petition to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the investigation is on and that the respondent police will be in a position to file the final report within a period of six months.

6.Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.165 of 2017, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
