Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to mutate the Revenue Records and Village Records with respect to lands situated at Pudukottai District, Viralimalai Taluk, Vadugapatti Village in S.F.Nos.171/29, 171/30,171/31,171/32 171/33,171/34,171/35 and 171/36 as per Assignment orders dated 14.09.2015 given to the petitioners by considering their representations dated 27.02.2018 and 03.04.2018.

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation dated 27.02.2018 and 03.04.2018 made by the respondents herein seeking for mutation of the Revenue Records and Village Records with respect to lands situated at Pudukottai District, Viralimalai Taluk, Vadugapatti Village in S.F.Nos.171/29, 171/30, 171/31, 171/32,171/33,171/34,171/35 and 171/36 as per Assignment orders dated 14.09.2015 given to the petitioners has not been considered, which prompted him to file the present Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner there shall be a direction to t he second respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2018 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order .

3. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any of its view with regard to the petitioner's right to have revenue records mutated.

4. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
