ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for YES Bank.

2. The petitioner is having account with the first respondent. It was frozen in view of the instructions received from the second respondent. Seeking to de-freeze his account, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was listed for admission on 29.02.2024, notice was issued to the second respondent. Registry sent a notice through e.mail on 08.03.2024. Registry has given a report that till date, no reply was received from the second respondent. If the second respondent had appeared before this Court, this Court could have probably passed an order on merits. The materials enclosed in the typed set of papers indicate that based on the complaint of one Manjeet Singh Sandhu, the second respondent took action. The second respondent had noted that in the petitioner's bank account, a sum of Rs.1,02,549/- has been found to be a suspicious transaction. Interest of justice will be met by directing the first respondent to mark lien over this amount alone and permit the petitioner to operate the bank account otherwise. The petitioner is also given liberty to move this Court again for comprehensive relief.
