MR.S.SATHYACHIDAMBARAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.1239 of 2024, dated 12.02.2024.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court, while granting bail to the petitioner, directed the petitioner to appear before the Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai City. He would further submit that the friends of the victim gave life threat to him by taking revenge. Hence, he requests before this Court to appear before any other District Police Station instead of the respondent Police.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that there is a life threat to the petitioner.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is ordered and the condition imposed by this Court dated 12.02.2024 in Crl.O.P.(MD). No.1239 of 2024 is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Kulasekarapattinam Police Station, Tiruchendur, 2/4
Thoothukudi District daily at 10.30 A.M. until further orders. The other conditions remain unaltered.
