ORDER
The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land and fix boundary stones in respect of Survey No.144/2C to an extent of 45 cents situated at Maruthankudi Village, Subramaniyapuram Post, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 31.12.2018, within a stipulated time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.M.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The petitioner, in order to survey the boundary of the
land belongs to him in Survey No.144/2C to an extent of 45 cents situated at Maruthankudi Village, Subramaniyapuram Post, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, has made an application to the first respondent on 31.12.2018 and necessary fee also paid to that effect. However, so far, no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 5.I have heard Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said request of the petitioner dated 31.12.2018 would be considered and necessary steps would be taken to survey the petitioner's land, within a time frame.
6.Considering the limited scope of this Writ Petition, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- "that the respondents, especially, the first respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.12.2018 and take necessary steps to complete the measurement and pass final orders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
7.With this direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
