5.D.Jeyashankar : Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 to identify the surplus land to the extent of 21 acres and 83 cents of land out of the 81 acres and 83 cents of land belonging to the respondent NO.5 in Mallanampatti Village in Nilakottai Taluk in Dindigul District and take over such surplus lands within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is happened to be the neighbour of the private respondent, with the allegation that the excess land declared under the Land Reforms Act https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.5720 of 2021 will have to be taken possession.

2. On instructions given by the respondent No.4 in Na.Ka.No.7000/2020/Aa2 dated 10.02.2021, the learned Government Advocate submitted that there is no excess land as alleged.

3. In view of the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
