This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and protection to conduct Dance Prgramme (Adal Padal) on 21.06.2019 and 22.06.2019 in connection with the festival of Sri Aathisakthi Vinayagar Temple situated at Pillaiyarkovil Street, Pookollai, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District, in pursuant to the representation dated 09.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 21.06.2019 and 22.06.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 09.06.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
