Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authorities 1 to 5 to act upon the representation dated 31.01.2024 and rectify the measurement of petitioner's land compressed in survey No. 89/4, to an extent of 2 acres and 64 cents situated at Virachilai I Bit Village, Virachilai Post, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District and also rectify the filed map sketch in accordance with actual physical measurement of the land and the registered sale deed as Document No. 449 to 454 and 491 of 1993 in the office of the Sub Registrar, Tirumayam executed by her vendor, namely, Gandhimathi and Vairavan who are the legal heirs of one Subbiah Pandaram and effect consequent corrections in revenue records and issue corrected patta and Field Map Sketch (FMP) to the petitioner within a time stipulated by this Court. 2/5

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukkottai is seized of the matter and he is holding an enquiry into the petitioner's representation. He states that final order will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months. Such an order will be passed after notice to all the interested persons including the private respondents herein. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

2. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
