:Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 2nd respondent, the Inspector of Police, Nerkuppai Police Station, Sivagangai District to register the case based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 13.02.2018 in CSR.No.12/2018 and to file a final report within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 13.02.2018 in CSR.12/2018 and to file a final report within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 13.02.2018 before the respondent police. As there was no case registered on the said complaint, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that after completing enquiry, the complaint was closed.

5. Recording the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
