Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct appropriate enquiry upon the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2020 by hearing both the parties and to pass appropriate orders to cancel the Patta No.31765, 31768 for the land in S.No.72/1, 72/2 and 74 of Rajapalayam Village, Rajapalayam Taluk and Virudhunagar District, issued in the name of the third respondent, and issue joint patta.

*********** This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to conduct appropriate enquiry upon the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2020 by hearing both the parties and to pass appropriate orders to cancel the Patta No.31765, 31768 for the land in S.No.72/1, 72/2 and 74 of Rajapalayam Village, Rajapalayam Taluk and Virudhunagar District, issued in the name of the third respondent, and issue joint patta and pass orders accordingly, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks for early disposal of his statutory appeal filed under the Patta Pass Book Act, 1986 before the first respondent seeking for cancellation of the aforementioned pattas and issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner and other names.

W.P.[MD]No.4534 of 2022 3.Heard Ms.Lakshmi Gopinathan for M/s.Polax Legal Solutions, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 01.12.2020 after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the third respondent as well as any other necessary party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire within a period of three [3] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
