ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is the sole accused and he was arrested on 05.03.2015 and remanded to judicial custody for the alleged offences punishable under sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(b) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.22 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is the petitioner was in possession of 2.200 kgs of Ganja.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner has been in judicial custody since 05.03.2015.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is almost over and one previous case is pending against the petitioner. 5.However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner is in jail since 05.03.2015, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer, Special Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for E.C. and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m. until further orders.
