Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 07.06.2019 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to provide appropriate police protection with necessary permission for conducting of Adal Paadal programme which is scheduled to be conducted on 18.06.2019 in Sri Muthallamman Koil situate in S.Pudukottai, Patchamalayankottai Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the order dated 07.06.2019 passed by the second respondent and consequently to direct the respondents to provide appropriate police protection with necessary permission for conducting of Adal Paadal programme which is scheduled to be conducted on 18.06.2019 in Sri Muthallamman Koil situate in S.Pudukottai, Patchamalayankottai Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 18.06.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 07.06.2019 and the said request was rejected by the second respondent on the same day. Challenging the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent. On making such representation, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
