This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 149 of 2019 on the file of the first respondent police.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police completed investigation in Crime No. 149 of 2019 and also filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Tirunelveli and the same has been taken cognizance in CC No.270 of 2020.

3. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report.
