The petitioners seek a direction to the Hon'ble III-rd Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Act Cases), to consider the bail application on their surrender on the same, if any petition filed by petitioners in Crime No.81/2015 on the file of the second respondent. 2.The petitioners are accused for offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 249(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) of IPC, r/w. Section 3(I)(r) and 3 (I)(s) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act amended by No.1 of 2014. 3.The submissions made by Mr.B.Sukumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and by Mr.K.Anbarasan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) representing the respondents were heard. The materials available on record were also perused.

4.Considering the nature of offences alleged against the petitioners, the fact that anticipatory bail cannot be granted in respect of offences punishable under the the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities)Act, and that taking into custody of the petitioners pending consideration of his bail application could cause him irreparable hardship, this Court considers it appropriate to direct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned III-rd Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Act Cases), Madurai to consider the bail application of the petitioners on merits and pass appropriate order on the same day of his surrender. 5.The petition is ordered accordingly.
