This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to accord permission and adequate police protection to the village cultural program to be held on 26.06.2019 at about 06.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., at Sree Kaliamman Temple and Sree Aathiparasakthi Temple festival in Muniyandipuram, Y.Othakadai, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the cultural program on 26.06.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 12.06.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
