ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family to their life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 13.02.2025.
2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the private respondents are causing disturbance to the petitioner, who are none other than the daughter-in-law and in-laws. The fourth respondent is the daughter-in-law and she left the matrimonial home on 29.09.2022 and due to family dispute, H.M.O.P proceedings and DVC proceedings are also pending. While so, on 25.01.2025, the fourth respondent and his father and brother, who 2/6
are the fifth and sixth respondents respectively trespassed into the petitioner's house by breaking the door and threatened and attacked with deadly weapons. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the second respondent and they registered a case in Crime No.16 of 2025. Even after that, still the private respondents are threatening the petitioner. Thereby, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 13.02.2025 to the respondents but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that there is a matrimonial dispute pending between the petitioner's son and the fourth respondent and there are H.M.O.P proceedings and DVC proceedings are also pending between the parties and the fifth respondent is the father of the fourth respondent and the sixth respondent is the brother of the fourth respondent. Already based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.16 of 2025 as against the respondents 4 and 6 and the same is under investigation. Thereafter, again, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 13.02.2025 and the same is under consideration and pending enquiry, they will complete the enquiry within one week.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court without even issuing notice to the private respondents, inclined to dispose this petition.
5. Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and pending for enquiry, it is for the third respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.02.2025, within one week.
6. Recording the above said submissions, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the enquiry, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.
