O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Minnoli Kabadi Tournament, scheduled to be taken place between 20.04.2018 at 07.00 p.m. and 21.04.2018 at 07.00 a.m. at Rosmiyapuram - Sriregunathapuram, Panagudi, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 22.03.2018 to the respondents, seeking permission and protection for conducting Minnoli Kabadi Tournament, scheduled to be taken place https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

between 20.04.2018 at 07.00 p.m. and 21.04.2018 at 07.00 a.m. at Rosmiyapuram - Sriregunathapuram, Panagudi, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner's representation is pending, the same shall be considered by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the submission made by both parties, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.03.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 19.04.2018. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall produce a copy of the representation dated 22.03.2018 along with a copy of this order before the second respondent.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
