This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to register the case on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner dated 28.01.2018. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 28.01.2018, the petitioner has appeared before the respondent police for enquiry on 22.02.2018 and given statement, based on which, FIR has been registered in Crime No.343 of 2018 for the offence under Section 4(1) of the Tamil Nadu Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1959.

3.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law in respect of the subsequent complaint dated 05.04.2018.
