Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner suffered an order of dismissal under Section 6 of the Land Encroachment Act. The petitioner had filed an appeal under Section 10 of the Act before the second respondent.

3. The second respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the appeal is disposed of, no coercive steps will be taken against the petitioner. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
