Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to continue to pay the monthly old age pension to the petitioner under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAS) from October, 2013 and further ensure the respondent to pay the monthly old age pension to the petitioner till life time of the petitioner by considering her representation dated 18.03.2019 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to continue to pay the monthly old age pension to the petitioner under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAS) from October, 2013 by considering her representation dated 18.03.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is that, she has given application to the second respondent on 18.03.2019 through online for getting monthly old age pension under Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAS) from October 2013. However, the same has not been decided so far by the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

I have heard the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, who would submit that, the second respondent is the authority to pass orders on merits on the application of the petitioner for the old age pension and in this regard, the second respondent would pass orders on the application within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
6. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:
"That the second respondent is directed to consider the online representation/request made by the petitioner on 18.03.2019 with regard to old age pension under IGNOAS and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
