ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of suspension passed by the second respondent in Roc.No.6/52989/2018 dated 28.02.2019 and consequently to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue in service as Tutor - cum - Warden in Government Adi Dravidar Welfare Boys Hostel, Kamudhi, Ramnad District.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, he was serving as Tutor - cum - Warden at Government Adi Dravidar Welfare Boys Hostel, Kamudhi, Ramnad District. While so, he was suspended from service based on the irregularities found in the hostel. In this regard, the petitioner has also sent a representation to the respondents on 08.03.2019 and the same is pending without passing any orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking the aforesaid relief.
4.Though the prayer in the writ petition is in the nature of Certiorari to quash the impugned order of suspension, at the time of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 08.03.2019 is directed to be considered by the second respondent, for which, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents has no serious objection. 5.In view of the submissions made on either side and considering the limited scope of the prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, WMP(MD)Nos.10077 and 10078 of 2019 are closed.
