Respondent / Complainant Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time granted for executing sureties before the concerned Magistrate for a further period of 15 days in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.357 of 2024 which was allowed on 10.01.2024. Order : This criminal miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.EDIN BROUGH.P, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate (Crl. side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- 1/3

This petition is filed to extend the time granted for executing sureties before the concerned Magistrate for a further period of 15 days in Crl.O.P(MD).No.357 of 2024 which was allowed on 10.01.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners could not mobilize the amount within the stipulated time as per the order of this Court dated 10.01.2024 made in Crl.O.P(MD).No.357 of 2024 and therefore, they have not appeared before the trial Court and could not produce the sureties. Hence, he seeks time to comply with the condition imposed upon the petitioners.

3. In view of the same, time granted by this Court, vide order dated 10.01.2024 is extended finally for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioners shall stand automatically vacated.
