ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.167 of 2018.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions would contend that there are seven witnesses on the side of the prosecution, out of which, four witnesses were examined. His further contention is that none of the prosecution witnesses were cross examined by the present petitioner/accused. 3.In such circumstances, I do not find any reason to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.167 of 2018. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
