ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to investigate in Crime No.575 of 2018 dated 08.10.2018 and file the final report before the competent Court within the time period fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner/defacto complainant, who is the resident of Chennai, is not co-operating with the investigation.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to co-operate with the investigation.

4. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the respondent police is directed to proceed with the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.575 of 2018 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, 2/4

within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
