Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's tender bid in notification Na.Ka.No.144/2025/A1 dated 09.01.2026 issued by the 4th respondent strictly in accordance with the tender conditions and award the work order in a fair and transparent manner. 1/4

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a successful bidder seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his tender bid in notification Na.Ka.No.144/2025/A1, dated 09.01.2026 strictly in accordance with the tender conditions and award the work order.

2. According to the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 4th respondent, the tender in favour of the petitioner has been confirmed and it will be placed before the council meeting of the 4th respondent and thereafter, work order would be issued. A written instruction has been given by the 4th respondent to the above said effect.

3. In view of the above said written instructions, the 4th respondent is directed to issue work order after placing the tender confirmation before the council meeting and pass orders within a period of 4(four) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
