O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to dispose of the case in C.C.No.200 of 2013 pending on the file of the Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that after completion of investigation, the respondent police has laid a charge sheet before the Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.200 of 2013. Since the said case has been pending for more than 5 years, the petitioners have filed the present petition for the aforesaid relief.

31.08.2018 for examination of P.W.1 to P.W.5 and hence, he seeks a specific direction may be given to the Court below to complete the trial within a specific time and the petitioners also may be directed to co-operate with the Court below for speedy disposal of the said case.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioners undertake that he will co-operate with the Court below for early disposal. 6.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the learned Principal District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.200 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the petitioners also directed to co-operate with the Court below for speedy disposal of the said case.

7.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
