O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent / District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram, to dispose of an appeal in Na.Ka.No.10/37342/2022, which was filed on 15.07.2022 within a reasonable period of time.

2. The second and third respondents, are the respondents in the appeal also. The appeal had been filed, according to the petitioner, owing to an error in the patta and therefore, the appeal in accordance with the provisions of law, has been filed before the first respondent.

3. A direction is given to the first respondent to ensure that the petitioner and the respondents 2 and 3 appear before him and that their representations are taken note of and opportunities are given to all 2/4

the parties and thereafter, to dispose of the appeal. The appeal may be disposed of within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of effective arguments advanced in the said appeal by all the parties.

4. Recording as above, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
