Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A1/121/97 dated 12.11.2019 and quash the same on the ground that the same is arbitrary, illegal and without any legal basis and consequently directing the third respondent to drop all further proceedings pertaining to the proposal of issuing assignment order to the third parties for the land already allotted to the petitioner.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A1/121/97 1/3
dated 12.11.2019 and consequently, directing the third respondent to drop all further proceedings pertaining to the proposal of issuing assignment order to the third parties for the land already allotted to the petitioner.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents had produced a copy of the proceedings issued by the Special Tahsildar, Tiruchendur in Na.Ka.No.127/2020, dated 20.08.2020 and submitted that the petitioner agreed to get the house site patta in Veerapandian Pattinam, Tiruchendur Taluk. Based on this, a recommendation has been sent to the District Adi Dravidar Welfare Department and steps have been taken to grant patta to the eligible persons.
3.Based on the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the third respondent to pass appropriate orders in the light of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.127/2020, dated 20.08.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
