PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the 2nd respondent in transfer order in the proceedings of reference Na.Ka.Ya1/35707/2022 dated 19.02.2025 and the consequential order passed by the 3rd respondent in the proceedings of reference in Na.Ka.A4/6401/2022 dated 19.02.2025 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to re-transfer/retain the petitioner to the same place in the service as Firka Surveyor, Myladumpaarai Firca, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District.

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents and perused the records.

2. This writ petition has been filed against the order dated 19.02.2025, wherein, the petitioner was transferred to Krishnagiri District. It is represented by the learned Additional government Pleader that in the light of the interim 2/4

orders passed by this Court on 24.02.2025, the petitioner has been posted in Theni district in a non-sensitive post vide proceedings dated 04.03.2025 and accordingly, the petitioner joined in that place. In view of the above said facts, nothing survives in this writ petition and he sought to close the same.

3. Considering the fact that the relief sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition has already been granted to the petitioner and he transferred to Theni District and posted in a non-sensitive post. Therefore, in our considered view that no further adjudication is required in this case.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructous. There shall be no order as to costs.
