O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.2 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police, against the petitioner alone.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. It appears that based on the complaint given by the second respondent, a case was registered in Crime No.2 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent police for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(i) I.P.C. The petitioner is the fifth accused.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that Charge Sheet itself has been filed and it is yet to be taken on file.

5. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the Charge Sheet, if it is advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
