O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is to quash the impugned order of the 2nd respondent dated 12.12.2018 and consequently issue direction to the respondents to rectify the error in classification of land as Tharisu in S.No.297/1, Perurani Village, Tuticorin Taluk, and District comprised in Patta No.1061 and restore the classification as Punja land and restore the patta as it stood in the petitioner's name.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner after some arguments wants to withdraw this writ petition with a liberty to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer (i.e.) Appellate Authority, under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act.

Considering the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to the petitioner to file a statutory appeal before the Appellate Authority/Revenue Divisional Officer concerned.
