The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to measure/survey the land bearing old Survey No.44/3A and new Survey No.44/60 of Rengarajapuram Village, Podumbu 1st bit Revenue Village of Madurai North Taluk, measuring about 2 1⁄2 sq. meters and to fix the four boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner, in order to measure and survey the land bearing old Survey No.44/3A and new Survey No.44/60 situated at Rengarajapuram Village, Podumbu 1st bit Revenue Village of Madurai North Taluk to the extent of 2 1⁄2 square meters and to fix the four boundaries, has made an application on 29.05.2019 to the respondent and the learned counsel for the petitioner wants that application to be considered and if steps are taken by the respondents, especially the first respondent, to measure the land and fix all the four boundaries, the petitioner will be satisfied. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said

representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2019 would be acted upon by the respondents within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction:- "that the respondents, especially the first respondent, is hereby directed to act upon the application of the petitioner dated 29.05.2019 with regard to the grievance of measuring subject lands and pass final orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order". With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
