ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498 A, 294(b), 406, 506(i) IPC r/w Section 4 of The Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 r/w 4 of Women Harassment Act in Crime No.3 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the husband and the father in law of the defacto complainant have already been arrested and remanded in judicial custody. Only the other in-laws are seeking the relief of anticipatory bail. The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes that the husband shall pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month to the wife from 01.05.2018 onwards. This undertaking is given in view of the fact that a child was born through the wedlock.
3.Recording the said undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Pattukottai and on their executing a bond for a sum of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two common sureties to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. 4.The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
