This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying this Court to direct the learned II Additional District Judge (PCR Act Cases), Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli District to expedite the proceedings in S.C.No.14 of 2008 pending on his file and further direct him to complete and dispose of the same within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents/State and perused the records.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
