No.01/2023 dated 03.01.2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely Maharaja, aged about 23 yeas, S/o.Sivasamy now detained at the Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.904 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department dated 20.02.2023 submitted that the detention order has already been revoked. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
