ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J) Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 5 and 6. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite repeated assurance, the respondents have not removed the encroachments complained by him.

3. Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner being an Ex-Chairman of the Thevaram Town Panchayat, is making this complaint with ulterior object of preventing the construction of the bus stand. He would add that the authorities will conduct a survey and remove the encroachments, if any, after following due process of law. 3/6

4. The statement of the learned Government Pleader is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to remove the encroachments, if any, after following due process of law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
