PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.47 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.47 of 2019 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the matter was settled. 3.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that the FIR was closed as 'mistake of fact' and that a report was sent to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Trichy.

4.In view of the aforesaid submissions, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
