ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.48 of 2023, dated 27.09.2023 on the file of the All Women Police Station, Thallakulam, Madurai District.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the de facto complainant in this case and based on the complaint, FIR has been registered in Crime No. 48 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406 and 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Thereafter, the second respondent police filed a final report by closing the case as mistake of fact and after receipt of the notice, protest petition was filed and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai also not accepted the earlier final report and directed to investigate further and file report through an order, dated 19.06.2024. But so far, the second respondent has not filed any final report after completing the further investigation. Therefore, filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the investigation in this case is pending. Already 2/5

the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai has directed the second respondent to conduct further investigation through an order, dated 19.06.2024 and the investigation is pending. However, they will complete the investigation and to file final report within one month.

4. In view of the above said representation of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents and recording the same, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation within a period of one (1) month from the date of this order.

5. With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
