O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the cultural function viz., Aadal Padal during the temple festival of "Arulmighu Mutharamman Temple", 22/42 , Vattan Villai (South), Paramankurchi, Thiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District on 03.05.2018 between 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m. 2.Heard Mr.K.Veilmuthu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Adalpadal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
