Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 21.06.2019 at night 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., in connection with "Aani Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Veera Sekara Umaiyambigai Temple at Pudhuvayal Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event, namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 21.06.2019 at night 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., in connection with "Aani Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Veera Sekara Umaiyambigai Temple at Pudhuvayal Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and police protection to conduct the cultural event, namely Adalpadal on 21.06.2019 in connection with "Aani Festival" of the above said temple, the petitioner has given a representation on 03.06.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
