ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for the vacant land situated in S.No.216/60, at his village. 2.Heard Mr.R.Murugappan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner, in order to get patta of the house site of the petitioner situate in S.No.216/60 at Sengulam village, Aruppukkottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, which is claimed to be the petitioner's land, had made application on 16.04.2019 to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar concerned. Since the same has not been so far decided, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.I have heard the learned learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2019 would be decided by the 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court and final orders to be passed thereon. 6.Considering the limited scope of the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of, with the following direction: The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2019 regarding his grievance to get patta for his land and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
