This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first to fourth respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2025 and consequently include the petitioner's name in Patta No. 912 in respect of the property measuring an extent of 23 cents in Survey No. 346/9, situated at Kandaramanickam Village, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself, dispensing with the notice to the fourth and fifth respondents, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against them.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has a share in the subject property, which originally belonged to the father of her mother-inlaw. The petitioner's mother-in-law, i.e., the mother of her husband, had a sister. Each of them is entitled to a 1⁄2 share in the property. However, without issuing notice to the petitioner, the patta was transferred in favour of the fifth respondent, who is the grandson of the said sister, in Patta No.
912. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 13.06.2025 to the first to fourth respondents seeking inclusion of her name in the said patta in respect of the subject property. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the third respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a Page No. 3 of 5
direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fifth respondent and any other interested parties who may be affected by such decision, before passing any order.
